This is the last day of week 3. The days have passed in the blink of an eye. I have spent whole days at my computer, reading messages, looking at websites, bookmarking the most interesting ones, building my blog, reading and commenting on others' blogs, attending webconferences at Alado and LearningTimes, chat sessions at Yahoo Messenger and Tapped In, printing the readings to take to bed... bed? Not until 3 a.m. every day. Fortunately it's holidays here in Argentina! The busiest holidays I've ever had.

Now I know how to do it. I had missed the UPLOAD buttom at the top of the EDIT page. I was even able to put a frame round the picture using the upright bars.

This is my son Patricio (number 2 in the series of 4; yes, I've got 4 kids), and his girlfriend Valeria. They are so in love they cannot be apart for a minute. I guess I'm getting used to it.

Now I understand what people used to say when all this started: "There is a life before BaW and another life after BaW**". I feel I've made new friends, and that new doors open in front of me. I don't know yet how I'll put in action all I've learnt in my school practice. But I'm sure I'm a new teacher now, with hundreds more resources and different views.

Thanks all Webheads (old and new) for this hands-on, hand-in-hand adventure.

Text formatting

One * at the beginning of a line makes a bullet point, like this.

One ! makes a huge headline

Two !! makes a big headline (like "Text formatting" above)

Three !!! makes a small headline

Two * before and after something makes it bold

Two apostrophes ' before and after something makes it italic

Three dashes --- make a horizontal bar

One vertical bar before and after something puts a box around it

If you use two capital letters in a word with lowercase letters in between, pbwiki will automatically recognize the word as a link to a page. This is why we write words that LookFunny like SandBox instead of sandbox or Sandbox. If you use a word like FunnyWord but don't yet have a page called FunnyWord, you can create such a page by just clicking on the word.
